Qatar Airways has announced a new partnership with Klarna, the global digital bank and provider of flexible payment solutions. The collaboration introduces a range of new payment options designed to offer passengers greater control, convenience and flexibility when booking their flights.
Klarna will now be available as a payment option for Qatar Airways customers on its website in 17 European countries, including France, the UK and Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Poland and the Czech Republic.

Four settlement options
Qatar Airways customers will be able to choose from four different payment options generated by Klarna at the time of payment.
- Pay in one go - the full amount is paid immediately.
- Pay within 30 days - book now and pay within 30 days.
- Pay in 3 instalments - payment in three interest-free instalments.
- Financing - payment is spread over several months.
Through its partnership with Klarna via Worldpay, Qatar Airways is offering its passengers greater travel flexibility throughout Europe. A cash solution that could prove particularly interesting for certain SMEs and micro-businesses.
This initiative continues the company's commitment to putting innovation at the service of the customer, allowing travellers to plan and pay for their journeys on their own terms, while redefining the booking experience with greater freedom and choice.
However, Qatar Airways is not the only carrier to offer this payment flexibility with Klarna. This solution is also available from Cathay Pacific, Delta Air Lines, SAS, Turkish Airlines and United Airlines, among others.
