Already one of the best established hotels in Russia, Rezidor is continuing its expansion with the opening of the Radisson Blu Resort & Congress Sochi, scheduled for the first quarter of 2013. This hotel will offer no fewer than 500 rooms, as well as a 15,000 m2 congress centre, numerous meeting rooms and a vast banqueting hall. On the shores of the Black Sea and close to the Caucasus mountains, Vladimir Putin's favourite seaside resort is preparing to host the Winter Olympics in 2014 and matches in the Football World Cup in 2018. These are all events for which the establishment will be a key hub, and which will continue to boost the city's tourist appeal. With this in mind, Rezidor is preparing to open two new Park Inns in the city of Sochi, as well as a Radisson Blu and a Park Inn in the nearby ski resort of Rosa Khutor.
