Code-sharing between American Airlines and OpenSkies

Flights between Paris Orly and Newark Liberty will now be operated on a codeshare basis, following an agreement between the business airline and the US carrier.

OpenSkies, the 100% business subsidiary of British Airways, and American Airlines, a member of the Oneworld alliance like British Airways, have decided to join forces. Flights from Paris Orly to New York's Newark airport will be operated under the codes of the two airlines, opening up new solutions for AA travellers to Europe. For OpenSkies regulars, this agreement will offer connections from Newark to Dallas Fort Worth, Chicago O'Hare, Los Angeles and Miami. This is the first step on the road to further expansion: on 1 January 2012, OpenSkies will join American Airlines, British Airways and Iberia in a strengthened partnership on transatlantic flights, with even more extensive code-sharing and better coordination of services and schedules.
