Tampa airport is preparing for the future with a new terminal scheduled for 2029. Its construction has just been approved by the authorities.

It's now a done deal: Tampa International Airport (TPA) will enter the next decade with new assets and a new dimension. The "Airside D" project, the name given to the airport's future expansion, was approved last week. It should increase the capacity of the American hub from the current 25 million passengers a year to 35 million by 2037. Investment in this project is expected to reach $1.528 billion (€1.41 billion).
