Etihad launches in Chengdu for business travel in China

This Thursday, Etihad begins its flights to Chengdu airport in China. Four weekly services are scheduled by the airline.

Routes between China and the Gulf States are definitely on the up: just a few days after the launch of the new Doha-Chongqing route by Qatar Airways, it is Etihad's turn to launch services to the neighbouring city of Chengdu. The flights, operated by A330-200s, take place every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. They should attract a large number of business customers, drawn by the economic boom in the region and the development of trade links between the Gulf States and China.
