Kingfisher Airlines on its way to oneworld

Kingfisher Airlines will join the oneworld network on Friday 10 February 2012, according to information made official today by the alliance.

Kingfisher Airlines is set to join the onworld network, becoming the first airline from the Indian sub-continent to join a global airline alliance. Oneworld will have global coverage of almost 800 destinations in nearly 150 countries. "Kingfisher Airlines will significantly expand oneworld's network in a key region where demand for travel is strong, while perfectly meeting our quality requirements and enabling Kingfisher Airlines to offer its customers a truly global network with quality partners," said Bruce Ashby, CEO of oneworld.
