DoubleTree by Hilton officially enters the Dutch market with the opening of the DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station. The former Mint Hotel Amsterdam will soon be followed by the 7 other Mint Hotels based in England and the Netherlands, which will join the Hilton Worldwide portfolio under the DoubleTree by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn brands. "2012 is shaping up to be a promising year for the DoubleTree by Hilton brand, which is enjoying rapid growth, with more than 25 hotels opened since 2008 and a further 25 properties under development across the region," said Simon Vincent, Head of Europe, Hilton Worldwide.
