Iberia heads for its 2nd strike: a third of flights cancelled

As predicted several weeks ago, a second strike will disrupt Iberia traffic at the end of December. The Spanish airline is already showing its colours: 36% of its flights are due to be cancelled on 29 December.

December is a month of strikes in the transport sector, both in France and in its European neighbours. In addition to the security officers in French airports, and disruptions - mainly in the rail sector - in Belgium, Spain is preparing for a second strike action on 29 December on the Iberia network. Already affected by industrial action on 18 December, the airline is this time planning to cancel 118 flights, despite agreements with other carriers.
