Channel Tunnel: Deutsche Bahn to wait until 2015

The arrival of Deutsche Bahn trains in the Channel Tunnel, initially scheduled for the London Olympics this summer, has been postponed once again: Eurostar is not expected to face competition until 2015.

A further respite for Eurostar, which will remain the sole master of the Channel Tunnel for a further two years. Deutsche Bahn's launch in the Channel Tunnel, previously postponed from 2012 to 2013, will finally wait until 2015, according to information released at the end of the year by the German company. The problem apparently lies in the delivery of the Siemens trains.
