Air Canada presented its new long-haul flight amenities at the last Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg. This is one of the airline's largest investments in renewing and designing its cabins, with the aim of offering passengers a welcome and a concept reflecting a supposedly very Canadian sense of conviviality and warmth.

The completely redesigned cabin layout will first be rolled out this summer on board the Airbus A321XLR. This single-aisle aircraft will offer, for the first time, a true Air Canada Signature Class experience, with fully reclining seats. The introduction of this new aircraft is set to be a game-changer, both in terms of comfort and network.
According to Air Canada, this low-capacity, long-range aircraft will allow for the opening of new transatlantic and transcontinental routes. At the same time, it will offer business travellers a superior high-end travel experience with 14 lie-flat seats similar to those installed on wide-body aircraft. The new cabin layout, which includes Air Canada's "Signature Plus" suites, will be revealed when the Boeing 787-10 enters service.

Upmarket experience enhancements
The improvements to the cabin are particularly marked by the upscale comfort offered to passengers aboard Air Canada's brand new aircraft.
On the Airbus A321XLR, this translates to the introduction of fully reclining seats. On the Boeing 787-10, it features Air Canada's Signature Plus "suites" at the front of the aircraft, offering more space. The suites in the centre of the row also include guest seats for those who wish to share convivial moments while the flight is cruising. Four suites will thus be available with a seat length of 2 metres, a guest seat, and higher partitions providing more privacy. The two central suites have a fully retractable sliding partition, allowing a group of four people to fully enjoy convivial moments.
