Less than a year after Vueling inaugurated the Bordeaux-Barcelona route in April 2011, competition is making itself felt on the Franco-Spanish route. Air France is preparing to reduce its weekly schedule between the two airports from eleven to seven flights from 25 March. The flights will be operated via the Regional subsidiary, using Embraer E170s. Another victim of this reorganisation is Oviedo, which Regional will desert from the end of March, cancelling its current 18 weekly flights.
