Korean Air's services from Europe will be expanded on 29 April. On Monday 9 January, the Korean carrier announced the launch of a new route between London-Gatwick and Seoul. Flights will be operated by Boeing 777s configured in three classes, with 8 Kosmo Sleeper seats in First, 28 Prestige Plus seats in Business Class and 225 seats in Economy. Departures from London-Gatwick are scheduled on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays; return flights will leave Seoul-Incheon on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. With the opening of this new route, Korean Air will link Seoul to 16 destinations in 11 European countries, and will operate 10 flights a week between London and Seoul via Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
