The companies from Group Air France-KLM (Air FranceKLM and Transavia are reassuring customers who have not yet booked their holidays for the coming summer months. While questions about fuel availability have dominated the media since spring, the information gathered to date allows the Group's airlines to confirm that they will be able to operate their flight schedules this summer.
Benjamin Smith, Chief Executive – Air France-KLM stated: " Air FranceKLM and Transavia will fly all their customers this summer. We are continuously monitoring fuel availability at the airports we serve, and as noted by the French and Dutch governments in recent weeks, the signs are positive for the peak summer period of July and August. During this time, our airlines will operate nearly 2,200 flights per day to over 320 destinations worldwide. Our teams are fully mobilised to welcome our customers, who have already travelled in large numbers in May for the various long weekends. France and in the Netherlands ".
Alongside these announcements, and to offer clients more flexibility, Air France, KLM and Transavia have been offering a promotional campaign for journeys departing from on 3 June 2026 France, with tickets that can be changed for free, regardless of the fare selected or the travel class (Economy, Premium or Business for Air France and KLM). Unprecedented flexibility, offered by all airlines in the Group.
– For Air France and KLM, this campaign concerns long-haul routes departing from FranceFrom 3 to 17 June 2026, all tickets purchased, regardless of travel date, selected fare, or travel cabin (Economy, Premium, or Business), will be changeable free of charge up to the actual travel date.
– For Transavia France, from 3 to 9 June 2026, the Flex option will be offered free of charge, compared to the usual €10 on all routes departing from the France metropolitan. This option allows you to change your trip free of charge up to 2 hours before departure. As part of this campaign, Transavia will be offering discounts on selected flights departing from Paris and French regions to Europe and North Africa.
