Emirates is rethinking its airport business class offering with a new signature lounge concept that champions exceptional hospitality, luxury, and innovation.

This is a particularly strategic area for a company that is heavily reliant on its business clientele and connecting flights via its Dubai hub: airport lounges. Emirates has therefore decided to invest heavily in its lounges, designing an all-new concept set to become the standard in major airports worldwide.

In detail, what should business travellers expect for their upcoming professional trips? Emirates promises " Over 50 design improvements }, while remaining in harmony with the decorum of its cabins in terms of colour palettes. Business clients will have access to more extensive workspaces, which are intended to foster their pre-flight productivity. Emirates notably mentions Italian leather seats, with wireless charging and universal sockets. Spaces will also be dedicated to meetings.

The new lounge concept will also feature a "Quiet Zone" with plush seating, dim lighting, and sleep accessories such as blankets or eye masks.

According to the roadmap unveiled on 6 July, Emirates will invest nearly €12 million in each new-generation lounge. The rollout of the concept has already begun in Germany, in Munich and Frankfurt. Manchester, Mauritius and Istanbul will follow in the coming months, in July, August and October respectively.
