Strike: massive cancellations at Lille airport

As expected, the strike action launched this Tuesday morning by the air traffic controllers at Lille-Lesquin has led to the cancellation of the vast majority of flights.

The various airlines operating out of Lille airport have simply cancelled all their flights this Tuesday 17 January, following the strike action by air traffic controllers. Air France has cancelled the 17 flights initially scheduled from the Lille hub, as has Chalair. Low-cost carrier Ryanair has chosen another option, diverting its flights to Charleroi airport in Belgium and offering a bus service.
