Thai Airways continues its offensive in Europe, and particularly on Skyteam alliance hubs. The airline has indeed just inaugurated a route between Amsterdam and Bangkok. Since July 1st, an Airbus A350-900 in the airline's colours has again taken off from the Dutch metropolis, after an absence of 28 years. The aircraft, equipped with 321 seats, offers a business class and an economy class.
The assault on the Skyteam hubs will continue this winter. The airline has just announced that it will be offering a second daily flight from Paris from 1 December. This second daily flight will be operated by a Boeing 787-9, offering 30 business class seats and 268 in economy class. It will complement the Boeing 777-300ER currently in service on the route. The new frequency is already available through all usual sales channels.
Furthermore, also for its winter schedule, Thai Airways will also increase its services on Bangkok-Munich to 10 weekly frequencies instead of one daily flight from 16 December. For Zurich, the airline will increase to 11 flights per week instead of the current 7, from 16 January 2027. These flights will also be operated by a Boeing 787-9.
