New series of strikes at Iberia

A new strike action has been disrupting Iberia's operations since Monday morning. The Spanish airline has been forced to cancel 155 flights, and will face further strike days on 17, 20, 24 and 29 February.
The launch of the new low-cost subsidiary Iberia Express has already cost Iberia dearly, and for several weeks the airline has had to deal with a strike by its employees. This time, it is the Sepla pilots' union that is raising its voice, forcing the Spanish carrier to cancel 155 flights this Monday, including four to Paris. The next disruptions, scheduled for Friday 17 February, are likely to have an even greater impact on Iberia's schedule.
