Booking for another person, managing changes, increasing visibility for employees on the go: the Hilton group is adding new features to its Hilton for Business (H4B) program. Launched in early 2024, this dedicated booking platform for SMEs already included integrated management tools; the new update brings improvements in line with the expectations of the program’s 400,000 members.

Based primarily on internal customer studies and surveys of travelers, the evolution of the program meets the needs expressed. Among other things, more flexibility for those organizing travel and greater visibility over their trips.« At Hilton, we are particularly attentive to our customers, and the members of Hilton for Business have clearly indicated to us what would make the program even more useful for them. », said Frank Passanante, senior vice president, global sales manager of the American group.

The new tools available are in line with these expectations, starting with the ability for program administrators to book stays for employees from across the company and, if necessary, to modify or cancel reservations without relying on the traveler to make the changes. Furthermore, all these ongoing or upcoming reservations will be visible in a single place, in compliance with the «duty of care» requirements.

These developments call for others, as the Hilton group already has the upcoming improvements that will be made in the coming months. Users will be able to, among other things, arrange accommodation for the company’s employees, but also book for external travelers, or even for those who are not members of the Hilton for Business account. On the other hand, designating the people responsible for managing travel will be made simpler, as these users no longer need to have owner-level access.

Finally, the program dashboard will be improved to provide increased visibility into spending and reservations, as well as loyalty points earned, including bonus points earned on the Hilton for Business account when travelers stay at eligible H4B rates.
