It was a particularly good year for French airports, with one record after another. The latest comes from Aéroports de Paris, whose two hubs reported increased results: +4.8 % for Paris-Charles de Gaulle to 61 million passengers, and +7.7 % for Orly, to 27.1 million passengers. Low-cost airlines are no strangers to these record numbers, with double-digit growth in passenger numbers last year (+11.31 %). The European network remains ADP's main driver (42.2 % of traffic share), and even confirmed its position with growth of 8.4%, while Asia Pacific continued to grow (+7.9%). Conversely, the various political events of 2011 led to a decline on the African market (-2.9% to 11.2 %) and above all the Middle East (-6.5% to 4.3%).
