Strike called off at Iberia

It therefore took the direct intervention of the Spanish government - in the form of mediation - to put an end to a lasting conflict at Iberia. After long weeks of strikes, and on the eve of 24 new days of blockades, the Spanish carrier has reached an agreement with the pilots. The pilots were protesting against the impact on jobs of the launch of the low-cost Iberia Express service, scheduled for 25 March.
