Business travellers using Lufthansa's services will soon be able to enjoy enhanced comfort with the introduction of a new seat for business class. At the touch of a button, Lufthansa passengers will be able to unfold the seat to its full length, making it 1.98 metres longer and more comfortable for in-flight rest. This new feature is due to be fitted on the airline's new Boeing aircraft in a few weeks' time, and should be a big hit with business travellers: in-flight comfort and legroom are generally among the main expectations of business travellers, as confirmed by an Egencia study published last February. Lufthansa passengers have also been involved in the process initiated by the airline: "We have involved our customers very closely in the development of our new business class to be able to offer a product that is totally in line with their wishes and requirements," confirms says Jens Bischof, member of the Lufthansa German Airlines Board.
