Two icons of the Paris luxury hotel industry will be stepping down from the limelight for several months. After the Crillon, which recently announced a renovation plan necessitating the closure of the establishment, the Ritz will also be giving its facilities a facelift. Work on the Paris hotel is expected to cost 140 million euros, and will include the creation of a restaurant under a glass roof.
Major works approaching for the Ritz: closure in sight
The Ritz is getting ready to close its doors from July, in order to carry out a phase of works. The famous Paris hotel is not due to reopen for another two years, in summer 2014.
