The unbridled development of Chongqing, one of China's fastest-growing cities, is attracting a growing number of business travel operators. After Qatar Airways, which inaugurated its first flight to the autonomous municipality last December, it is now Finnair's turn to add Chongqing to its Asian schedule. Four weekly flights - on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays - are now available from Helsinki. Return flights are operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. "Chinese and many Western companies, particularly in the electronics, automotive and chemical industries, are currently expanding their operations in Chongqing, and the prospects in terms of business travel and cargo transport are promising," Finnair stated in a press release.
