Qatar Airways has been voted best airline in the world at the World Airline Awards. The airline beat a quartet from Asia - Asiana Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific and All Nippon Airways - while European carriers were once again very discreet. Only Turkish Airlines, which was also named best European airline ahead of Lufthansa and Swiss, represents the Old Continent in the Top 10. Air Asia once again dominates the low-cost category, with EasyJet in sixth place.
