A comfortable majority of SNPL pilots (67%) approved Air France's "Transform 2015" restructuring plan at the weekend. According to the press release issued by the airline on the evening of 16 August, the participation rate reached 83%. Air France's management is delighted with this result: "This unambiguous result bears witness to the spirit of responsibility shown by the company's pilots and their representatives", commented Alexandre de Juniac. The company's Chairman and CEO spoke of "a very solid basis for putting Air France back on the road to development". It now remains to be seen what the outcome will be of the negotiations with the cabin crew, who have rejected the Transform 2015 project.
