Caffe: Italian generosity

After the Cristal Room and Zebra Square, the - very! - talented Thierry Burlot has joined the Thierry Costes stable and set up home in this fine address a stone's throw from the Champs-Elysées.

With its English club-style entrance, deliciously vintage decor and impeccable service, the restaurant is as good as its food, which is largely dedicated to transalpine flavours. Pizette with porcini and rocket salad, delicate octopus carpaccio, penne with tomato and Colonnata bacon, incredibly tender veal cutlet Milanese style, served with young watercress tips... Thierry Burlot's cuisine is generous, but impeccably mastered. Gourmets will also go wild for the espresso tiramisu, unquestionably the best in Paris.

Menu around 50 euros.
