The photographs, which oscillated between fashion and nude shots, became exhibition prints for the occasion, but never during the lifetime of Newton, who died in 2004. In fact, they had never been exhibited at the same time. The first cult book gives his very personal vision of the world of fashion, money and power, through often very crude shots in which, for the first time, nudity appears in the world of fashion. The second shows women naked or dressed, sometimes in an atmosphere that could be described as sadomaso chic. The third showcases twenty-one nude women perched on stilettos posing in front of the lens in large format. A vision of femininity that has shaken up the codes.
