What are your development goals and growth prospects for 2012?
Thomas Dubus - All the major European capitals are of course among our priorities. We have connections to Brussels, Amsterdam and, since this year, Rome and Vienna with Air France. Our absolute priority is London, followed by Berlin and Budapest. There is also strong growth potential in destinations in the Mediterranean basin, North Africa and Israel.
What does the arrival of Volotea mean for the airport?
T. D. - We're obviously delighted, because the strengthening of Volotea's offer, which arrived last April, means that we can now talk in terms of a 'network', since Volotea will be offering seven destinations. Alongside their bases in Nantes and Bordeaux, Strasbourg will become a major stopover in France. This will compensate for the reduction in Air France capacity to Paris. With the reduction in our charges and taxes, we hope to have generated a new dynamic.
Do you think other companies will follow this example?
T. D. - So far, we haven't welcomed as many carriers as I would have liked, but our new pricing system has been somewhat delayed. It only came into effect in August. I think we'll soon be announcing new routes, and even the arrival of new companies.
