On 19 December last, the Mövenpick group took a major step forward in its ambitions for the French market by taking over management of the Mövenpick Hotel Paris Neuilly, its first hotel in Paris. This hotel, with 281 rooms and 19 suites, will soon be entering a phase of renovation: from summer 2013, the entire establishment will undergo an extensive makeover, segmented floor by floor to ensure the tranquillity of business travellers. Mövenpick calls it "Parisian style", with designer loungers, pastel tones, traditional mouldings and works of art. With this first hotel in Paris, Mövenpick now has a total of 22 hotels under management in Europe.
