Oneworld: successful landing for Malaysia Airlines

On 1 February, Malaysia Airlines celebrated its official entry into the Oneworld network. The airline alliance is continuing to expand in the Asian market.

Kuala Lumpur airport was the setting last Friday for the celebrations linked to the arrival of Malaysia Airlines within the oneworld network. Malaysia Airlines has become the alliance's third airline in Asia, after Cathay Pacific and Japan Airlines. The Malaysian airline is also adding 16 new destinations and a new country - Brunei - to the oneworld catalogue, which now covers 842 airports worldwide in 156 countries.
