
Here's some good news for business travellers making regular business trips to Ecuador: the new Quito airport was inaugurated on 20 February in the Ecuadorian capital. The result of a seven-year project, and above all an investment estimated at more than 535 million euros (700 million dollars), the hub replaces the old airport structure, which was ageing to say the least: Quito Mariscal Sucre airport, which was fifty years old, closed its doors on 19 February.
