Since 10 April, business travellers on the Air Canada network have had to allow an extra 15 minutes to make sure they can board their flight: the check-in and baggage drop-off time limit for domestic flights has been increased from 30 to 45 minutes before departure, for all Air Canada and Air Canada Express flights. Check-in closes 20 minutes before departure at Toronto's Billy Bishop Airport (YTZ). Nevertheless, Air Canada recommends that passengers on domestic flights arrive at the airport 90 minutes before departure to allow sufficient time to check in (if they have not already done so online or using a mobile device), drop off their baggage and pass through security.
