Vueling sets course for hotels with Vueling BCN by HC

The first Vueling-branded hotel has opened its doors in Barcelona city centre, in partnership with Hoteles Catalonia: an atypical hotel that immerses business travellers in the world of the airline, its aircraft and its destinations.

Following in the footsteps of other airlines that have ventured into the hotel business in the more or less distant past - such as Air France, which wanted to offer business travellers a "home away from home" with Le Méridien - Vueling has inaugurated its first address in Barcelona. The fruit of a partnership with Hoteles Catalonia, the Vueling BCN by HC hotel has 63 rooms in the Catalan city centre, 10 minutes from Plaza Cataluña. In addition to the yellow colour characteristic of the "new generation" airline, the hotel makes full use of the parallels with the world of air travel, as in the case of the restaurant, which is modelled on a cabin. The bold design is an invitation to travel, and the rooms have been named after the Vueling network. The initiative should soon be extended to other destinations linked by the airline, via conversions of Hoteles Catalonia establishments.  and even the creation of new hotels.
