Qatar Airways-British Airways agreement on frequent flyer programmes

Qatar Airways and British Airways are extending their frequent flyer programmes for business travellers. Business travellers can now earn and reuse Miles on the British Airways Executive Club and Qatar Airways Privilege Club programmes.

With just over a month to go before its official entry into the oneworld alliance on 30 October, Qatar Airways is forging closer ties with British Airways on an issue dear to the hearts of business travellers: frequent flyer programmes. The two airlines have just signed a new partnership combining the Qatar Airways Privilege Club and British Airways Executive Club programmes. Members of the two FFPs (Frequent Flyer Programs) will be able, from 1 January, to take advantage of a new frequent flyer programme.er October, earn Miles on both programmes. The reciprocal agreement allows travellers to reuse these frequent flyer points to purchase tickets, in the case of excess baggage, or to use them as a means of payment at Qatar Duty Free in Doha.
