The world of business travel in Africa is becoming more structured, as demonstrated by the appointment of the first regional 'boss' at the head of GBTA Africa. The decision was made official on 5 December in South Africa, where Kovilan Naidoo hails from. "I think I'm well placed to help GBTA adopt the right strategy to develop in the key regions of the African continent," says Kovilan Naidoo. "We were really impressed by Kovilan's passion and expertise, [who] clearly understands what an association like GBTA brings to the industry and what it can bring to the pan-African business travel community," he says.
