New SilverKris lounge for Singapore Airlines in Sydney

Singapore Airlines has unveiled its new business lounge concept with the inauguration of a refurbished SilverKris lounge.

Singapore Airlines (SIA) business travellers in transit through Sydney airport have had access for a few days now to the new SilverKris lounge inaugurated by the Asian carrier. The new structure, designed by Ong&Ong, marks the start of a vast renovation programme planned over the next five years. The airports of London, Hong Kong and of course Singapore will be the next to be affected by this makeover, costing some 100 million dollars, starting in 2014. Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and San Francisco will follow. "Through our new 'home away from home' concept, our intention is to take care of our customers at every stage of their journey," explains Tan Pee Teck, Senior Vice President Product & Services at Singapore Airlines.
