The arrival of the British brand at the head of the hotel will result in an extensive renovation programme over several months, covering all accommodation, reception and business areas.
With this hotel, IHG is doubling its offer in Lyon, where the group currently only has one Holiday Inn. In 2016, the British hotel operator expects to convert the former Hôtel-Dieu, a historic building on the banks of the Rhône, into a luxurious InterContinental.
