Malaysia Airlines recently inaugurated new areas dedicated to business travellers at Kuala Lumpur airport. The Golden Lounge lounges in the Malaysian capital have been sporting a new look since 25 January. The Platinium Lounge now has 105 seats, adding 41 to its original capacity. A new gourmet dining area has also been created in this space reserved for Platinum members of the "Enrich" frequent flyer programme. The Business lounge has also been upgraded to accommodate up to 334 passengers, who now have access to a refurbished bar and spa.

Malaysia Airlines has also moved its Golden Lounge to the domestic terminal at Penang airport. The lounge has benefited from a number of improvements, including workspaces and shower cubicles, and a new buffet-style catering service.
