New services for frequent travellers at Thalys

Thalys is extending the range of services it offers to the many business travellers who use its network every week. Business customers can now pre-book the menu served on board, and access an online media kiosk.

Ever more connected, business travel by Thalys is getting a new edge: the rail company is experimenting with new services to personalise the service offered to business travellers, particularly when it comes to on-board catering. Holders of the Thalys TheCard Platinium and Platinium+ for travel in Comfort 1 can now pre-book their menu on the Paris-Brussels line. In practical terms, travellers will be able to request a vegetarian menu in advance of their journey, or opt for a savoury or sweet breakfast, for example. This service, which is being tested until June, can be accessed up to two days before the journey. As part of this pre-booking service, passengers travelling in Comfort 1 can also select three press titles, which will be distributed to them on board. This improved access to the international press is enhanced by the "e-Press&More" application, which allows passengers to download a newspaper, magazine or comic strip free of charge. In total, more than fifty international press titles are available in digital format.
