Waldorf Astoria gives itself a luxurious showcase in Jerusalem

The Waldorf Astoria hotel has opened its doors in Jerusalem, replacing the former Palace Hotel. A new emblematic address for the Hilton group, which is focusing particularly on the Meetings & Events segment.

It took almost 80 years for the building formerly occupied by the Palace Hotel to once again welcome travellers from all over the world. All that remains of that era is the Ottoman façade, the pride of the new Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem. And a strategic location between the Old City and modern Jerusalem. The 226-key establishment is distinguished by its luxurious character, which will be further enhanced next year with the inauguration of two swimming pools, gyms and saunas. With this new address, inaugurated almost fifty years after the opening of the first Hilton hotel in Israel, the hotel group aims to attract the favour of MICE customers. The Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem has a total of nine meeting rooms equipped with the latest technology, in addition to a vast function room capable of accommodating up to 800 people.
