Despite a sharp fall in passenger numbers in 2013 (-11.5%), the Hong Kong-Taipei route remained the busiest international route last year. With 4.9 million passengers, the Asian route was ahead of the Dublin-London route (+6.9% to 3.6 million) and Jakarta-Singapore (+8.6% to 3.4 million). Of particular note is the strong growth on the New York-Paris route, which saw its passenger numbers increase by almost 17% in 2013.
