Following the integration of TQ3 Travel Solutions, what is BCD Travel's weight in the global business travel market?
BCD Travel is now the world's third largest business travel network with a volume of 12 billion dollars. What is your outlook for the French market in 2007?
In this market, we are aiming to be number 3 by 2007. From a budgetary point of view, we're aiming to reach €200 million this year. At the end of February, we were on track, having already served three new customers since the start of the year. After three years of existence and two of mergers, we are entering the next phase of our launch by strengthening our foundations and organising ourselves around competencies. With this in mind, we have inaugurated a new central Parisian site in a six-storey building in the 10th arrondissement and expanded our young Montpellier centre, which is now equipped with over a hundred workstations.
BCD Travel launched a MICE department in September. What are the benefits for your customers?
BCD Travel Meetings & Incentives in France capitalises on the Group's expertise in more than 30 countries and on a global, integrated in-house technology platform. We are the market leader in the USA, Germany and the Benelux countries. In France, we have been developing our offering for businesses since September 2006, and already have a team of five people and significant initial results. It's a new offering that provides turnkey tools and projects, including operations management, travel planning, the organisation of corporate events and strategic solutions for meetings. With the ability to customise or globalise according to the budgets and subjects defined by our customers.
