The Holiday Inn Express Paris - Aéroport Charles de Gaulle is set to be the first of three hotel projects recently announced by IHG to open in the French market. Due to open in 2017, the hotel will have 305 rooms. Its strategic location should appeal to French and international business travellers, especially as the CDGVal will link the hotel directly to the airport terminals, the SNCF train station and the park-and-ride facilities.
A few months later, the IHG group will celebrate the inauguration of the Holiday Inn Express Paris-Saint Ouen hotel, which will offer 110 rooms by 2018. Finally, further south, the Holiday Inn Ajaccio - Centre is due to open its doors in 2018, offering 80 rooms close to a new shopping centre on the Cours Prince Impérial, less than 2 km from the Ajaccio Exhibition and Convention Centre. These three openings will bring the IHG Group to a total of 58 hotels in France alone.
