France: easyJet closes in on 200 routes

EasyJet has announced the forthcoming opening of six new routes, which will have a direct impact on business travellers in Lille, Grenoble and especially Lyon. Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport alone will benefit from 4 new destinations.

With the six new routes unveiled on 25 June, easyJet is moving closer to the symbolic milestone of 200 lines These services will be offered from the French market, where the airline is now present in 19 airports. The orange carrier is preparing to launch on the Lille - Lisbonwith three weekly flights from 27 October. The airport of Grenoble will benefit from a new route toAmsterdamwith one flight per week.

But it is above all Lyon that the airline is preparing to expand further, with the inauguration of four new routes: Belfast (4 weekly flights), London Southend (1 vol), Amsterdam (1 vol) and Naples (2 flights). The inaugurations will take place between 12 and 17 December.
