
In addition to the five flights already operated daily by Air France between Paris-CDG and New York JFK, in June Air France will be adding a new daily flight from Orly airport a powerful argument for business travellers. This new route, which forms part of the transatlantic joint venture with Delta, will be by Boeing 777-200with 309 seats, including 35 in Business. Departure from Orly is scheduled for 11am, for arrival at New York-JFK at 1.10pm. On the return leg, flight AF37 will leave New York-JFK at 18:05, arriving at Paris-Orly at 07:05 the following morning.
The other major new service unveiled on 8 December concerns Tehran. Air France is preparing to operate three flights a week to the Iranian capital from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, after suspending the service in October 2008. Operations are due to begin from next April.
