This is certainly the missing piece in the MagicEvent jigsaw puzzle if it is to carve out a place for itself in the fast-changing world of business travel. On Monday, the collaborative consumer platform dedicated to business travel officially launched Magic Travel Manager Tool, which, as its name suggests, is aimed at travel managers to simplify the management and monitoring of bookings made via Magic Event. In concrete terms, travel managers can now import the list of all their employees into their dedicated space on Magic Travel Manager Tool, specifying the criteria of the travel policy for each of the profiles concerned, and in particular defining the city-caps per destination, while recording the means of payment to be used: bank card or direct debit. In this way, business travellers no longer need to pay in advance. The process for validating the trip with management is also set by the company, which retains control over business travel. Finally, a dashboard enables the travel manager to monitor bookings in real time, as well as expenditure by employee and by city, and invoices, for better management of travel policy. "Valéry Linyer, CEO of MagicEvent.com, comments: "This tool perfectly meets the needs of companies wishing to promote this type of accommodation, while at the same time controlling their staff's spending and travel.
