"Paris loves you": two months to the day after Valentine's Day, the managers of Paris airports are sending an unequivocal declaration of love to travellers the world over. This new slogan is accompanied by a new identity for the general public, as Paris Aéroport replaces Aéroports de Paris, while "Groupe ADP" will embody the new corporate brand for the capital's airport hubs. "Our former brand, Aéroports de Paris, was not sufficiently well known by the general public and was no longer in line with our desire to offer a welcome and services of the highest international standards", explains Augustin de Romanet, CEO of Aéroports de Paris SA - Groupe ADP.
"There is no such thing as love, only proof of love", will be the objection of those who are sceptical. Precisely: the managers of Paris Aéroport intend to go beyond words, by unveiling a list of twenty commitments. Passengers, airlines, territories and employees: everyone involved with Paris airports - including internal staff - should see concrete improvements to the service offered over the coming months, whether in terms of flight punctuality, a smoother customer experience or recognition of frequent travellers. Frequent flyers will be able to take advantage of three new services unveiled on Thursday: a "premium" bus called "Bus Direct", a frequent flyer programme, details of which will be unveiled shortly, and above all Instant Paris. This new area, which already has a hotel component embodied by Yotel, will take the form of a 4,500 m² lounge and will be reserved for long-distance passengers. Business travellers will have access to catering, entertainment and leisure services.
These new services are accompanied by a first concrete improvement, with the inauguration of the international pier at Orly's South terminal. A 12,000 m² boarding hall, spread over two floors, geared towards international traffic. The new structure is designed to support the internationalisation of traffic at Paris airport, and can accommodate six wide-body or twelve medium-body aircraft, according to Paris Aéroport.
