It has been almost five years since Hyatt House hotels made its debut on the European market. After the United States, China and Puerto Rico, the American group's long-stay brand is preparing to open its first address on the Old Continent. And it is Düsseldorf that will have the honour of welcoming the first European Hyatt House. A franchise agreement with InTown Hospitality GmbH will enable the American giant to open Hyatt House Düsseldorf in January 2017. The establishment will open its doors in the Altstadt old town, close to the popular Königsallee, and 15 minutes from the international airport.
The new arrival on the local hotel scene will offer 102 suites with fully equipped kitchens. A lounge called The Commons will welcome guests who can relax or share their experiences with other travellers, while a Very Important Resident (VIR) programme will give access to a range of personalised benefits for long-stay travellers of 30 nights or more.
" We are continuing to develop the Hyatt House brand in strategic markets around the world and we believe that Hyatt House Düsseldorf will offer a completely new hotel experience for travellers to this important European destination. "says Peter Fulton, Hyatt Group President for Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
The Hyatt group was already present in Germany through the Park Hyatt Hamburg, the Grand Hyatt Berlin, the Hyatt Regency Cologne, the Hyatt Regency Düsseldorf and the Hyatt Regency Mainz. Two more hotels are due to open: the Andaz Munich and the Hyatt Place Frankfurt Airport.
