New York, Iberostar's first US destination

Iberostar hotel to open in Manhattan, ahead of Miami in December
The first Iberostar hotel in the United States to open in New York

Iberostar is setting out to conquer the West, with the unveiling of its first two projects in the North American market. On 15 June, the hotel group will officially enter the US hotel scene with the opening of its first establishment in New York. This boutique hotel will be located in the heart of Manhattan, at 70 Park Avenue to be exact. The 205 rooms of the 4-star establishment will be spread across the 16 floors of this building, which was built in 1928 and is close to a number of New York landmarks, including Grand Central, Bryant Park, the United Nations headquarters and Times Square. The hotel will also be home to the Silverleaf Tavern restaurant.

This high-profile arrival in the Big Apple will pave the way for Iberostar's new American ambitions. The Spanish hotel group will be doing the same again soon, with another opening already scheduled in the United States. At the end of the year, another representative of the brand will open its doors further south: in Miami. The Miami Iberostar Berkeley hotel will be located in South Beach and from December will offer 96 rooms in the Art Deco district, in a building dating back to 1940.
