Corsair's inaugural flight between Paris Orly and Abidjan, scheduled for 16 June, marks the airline's return to Côte d'Ivoire. An ambitious return, with the press release announcing "a densified" and "sustainable" flight programme. For the occasion, the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire is expected to welcome this new flight, the only one to Abidjan from Orly airport.
The Ivorian capital is served all year round with four frequencies a week. The route is operated by an Airbus A330 with a capacity of 360 seats, including 26 in business class and 334 in the economy cabin. It will link Orly to Félix-Houphouët-Boigny airport on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. These denser frequencies should make it possible to target business customers, as confirmed in the press release: "To satisfy customers looking for greater flexibility, particularly in the business segment, Corsair is strengthening its programme of direct scheduled flights".
Between 2013 and 2015, Corsair carried more than 160,000 passengers, including 70,000 from Côte d'Ivoire and 90,000 from France.
